A local Rock Climbing Gym asked me and the great Megan Case to shoot the gym for a new website they are putting together. To be honest, this ended beng a lot harder then I thought and I think we are going to have to go back. While I got a few good shots, most of them are not what I would want to show the public. I decided that I needed to do my lights a bit differently and shoot at different angles. While the lighting was OK, the angles just were all off. Live and learn as they say.
But as I said, I got a few and here they are:
Yes, she is climbing upside down.
I am litterly hanging over the edge to get these next two shots. One of the guys was hanging onto my belt as I leaned over (way over) the edge.

Excellent shots, very clear and clean, i like how u used DOF here! Great work!
Top shot is pretty cool!
I think each of these shots are usable, Chris. My fave is the second shot. Well done!
I love the first one and I could totally see it as their website opening image!
i’ve tried wall climbing before and it isn’t as easy as it seems.. i wish i could’ve started photography earlier.. looking back, i just think of so many opportunities with this one..
i do like the last image..
Interesting idea, glad it was you not me! The kid in the middle is the best. Its his facial expression and hand.
